A field-based learning experience was carried out with the students of the Irrigation Systems course, who participated in a practical exercise led by Prof. Giuseppe Cirelli, with the technical contribution of Dr. Alfonso Russo from the company IRRITEC. The activity involved the analysis of the various irrigation technologies installed on the Department’s green roof, with particular attention to the Commander Evo controller, recently installed by IRRITEC, which enables the remote management of irrigation operations.
This initiative offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen the synergy between Di3A and IRRITEC, fostering an increasingly integrated dialogue between research and industry in support of technological innovation in agriculture.
